My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

The Psalms 121
The LORD Is Thy Keeper
A Song of degrees.
1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Good Sunday morning everyone.

Good morning, Seven of Nine, News Diva!
To: Lady Jag
I hope you have a restful day, too. Lovely graphic, thank you.
To: Kathy in Alaska
Thank you, Kathy for the music this Sunday. Lovely as always.
To: MEG33
Beautiful, beautiful, lovely poem, thank you Meg,
It’s a bit chilly here today, 27 degrees. Cardinals and snow are just perfect for this kind of weather.
To: Soaring Feather
So far the day has been restful and pretty soon I’ll have to set myself in motion.
Sun is out and getting stronger. This room has gotten unusally warm and made me lazy. I must fight it.

It’s a great day here as well, temp is 34 degrees, 50% humidity, sun beaming in the windows.
My motion has begun for the day, took a shower and now to have something to eat. I have had several coffees to get the cobwebs out.
Great day to enjoy everything we have. ;0)

Did Ya Notice
Oh soft, the dawn does come
and drips down icicles run
as winter, loosens its grip
as from life’s cup we sip
to wonder when winter’s done
and we find we’re about to hum

Down on the corner, of Dragonfly and Lair
there sits a little newsstand quite dear
the news lady’s kingdom, news everywhere
and each new noteworthy item she shares
its a fine thing that one informs us so fair
and knowing she’s on watch, sitting just there
she covers it all, bold as can be without fear
such is her courage, her thoughtful sweet care

Oh song lady, sing us a song of the Lord
sweet comfort, so willingly given just now
music lifts spirits, and words of sweet grace
and carry them gently, to one of great place
thank you for sharing, the songs to allow
to empty forth in open heart your music hoard

Its just an image, crafted with skill
and yet so more, for with wry humor its filled
a glimpse and a glance, to hold you right there
to wonder at craft, as an art done with such care
to hold the attention, you pause and are stilled
and know that a master, a moment to fill

A wry laugh, a soft laugh, and a bit of a wink
a friend to share jokes with and find them again
a sly partner in crimes of jest and an alibi then
and all from the comfort of her heart, home, and sink
She’s up for a joke or acting a toff
and often says more then her words indicate
the fun of a friend is something to rate
up there with chocolate so gooey and soft

Voices from all direction, a crowd in his head
they plaque his all day and most of the night
all demanding time to help him get it right
and he wanders around whereever he’s led
It takes a computer to give each a voice for a time
and he writes, hoping to still them, if but a pace
but they all want first place, and so its a race
and the confusion is funny, mixed up with a rhyme
