My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

No one writes poems about February, Its sometimes the forgotten month, Christmas bills to pay, Nights getting lighter, Frost along the way. Valentines Day in the middle Of the month, Blood red roses and sparkly cards, For those still in love. Cold nights spent in the warm, Watching tv in the gloom Looking forward to an early Spring, March tides and daffodils, Crocus's too, Swaying and dancing In the gentle breeze for you, February is the shortest month, But one that brings such promise, Of warmer days, And brightly coloured gardens, And everything coming back Vibrant and alive.

WOW, you have an ice skating rink! My word, and look at the snow.
We’ve not seen anything like this in a couple of years.
It is very beautiful, thanks for the picture.

Good morning everyone!
Maybe this graphic and the accompanying photo are not related, however I do see a connection.
"My poet-child, I want you to sing with Me:
I barter nothing with time and deeds.
My cosmic Play is done.
The One Transcendental I was.
The Many Universal I am.
I am the Soul-Flower of My Eternity.
I am the Heart-Fragrance of My Infinity."

Morning Moves On
Soft sun dappled waters gleam,
and flow under the ancient bridge.
Between the Beech lined shores,
flowing to the sea, somewhere.
A loons call echoes soft, just there,
opening some of the minds doors.
As you listen to the wind off the ridge,
you perceive things are more then they seem.
On high the hawk flies in an azure sky,
among the tattered clouds there adrift.
Watching common fate play out below,
dancing, light upon the winds of change.
Mountains marching through their range,
as below, the river, ever softly onward flows.
And on a gust, the hawk now swiftly lifts,
and dives to earth, as hunger softly sighs.

You still getting sand storms? This current round has ended, thank goodness. It is now clear, windy and cool.
But this is sandstorm season, so I'm sure we'll see more. I just love having grit in my eyes, nose, ears, mouth, hair...yecchh.
When yout take a shower at the end of the day, the water comes off sand-colored.
There's no place like home...thers' no place like home...there's no place like home...{click! click! click!} Damn....it still doesn't work. ;-)
