While I think this is humorous, it is also the only way to approach this.

It does not matter.

The media proclamations of Romney being a conservative are ignorant of Romney's reputation while Governor, nor is the media admitting Romney gave Massachusetts gay marriage and government mandated insurance policies for ALL citizens, except for illegal aliens who get health care free anyways.

McCain trying to switch parties in 2001 is a disgusting back stabbing act, and just another nail in his coffin he built for himself by supportiung democrats more than his own party on moral issues and immigration issues.

Huckabee is the most conservative of all republicans left but among his faults, he believes in Illegal Aliens getting more rights than citizens. That alone disqualifies him for this leadership position.

Since this means we have no conservative in the race, that leaves us. Each and every one of the Free Republic.com membership is more conservative than any of the candidates running.

Some have said that we can replace the congress with the first 580 people out of the New York City phone book and get better, more intelligent persons.

I believe that we as freepers make the better candidate. Each and everyone of us.

Therefore, Vote for yourself or for a friend. If you choose, select a favorite Freeper and write him/her in as a group so that person has the distinction of being listed as a write-in vote for the Presidency of the United States in the 2008 election.

I'm beginning to think that our whole republic is in danger of imploding.

I was just thinking about what I was going to do in the primary. I might put in JimRob's name.

But I'm voting for McCain this November.

I posted that I may write myself in a couple of weeks ago. I’ll just barely be old enough.

I had some Freepers with me. We should all pick a FReeper and write him/her in.

Most FReepers post pseudonymously. "Race Bannon for President"??? "Arrogant Bustard for President"??????

Jim Robinson, at least, uses his real name.

So I'll have to go with him.

Jim Robinson for President!!!

At least in California, if you do that, they won’t be counted at all. So you’re not even going to end up on some list of people who received a vote.

Vote Huck. If he does well we get a contested convention and a chance at getting a conservative in place.

Race, two of my past students died fighting in the War on Terror.

I am not going to cut and run. It would insult their memory.

For those that do not want McNut or Huck, I believe Romney’s name might still be on the ballot. Vote for Romney will in effect be a no vote for McNut or Huck. I suspect there might be a huge rush to print new ballots to remove Romney, but he might still be on some. Let’s go!!!!!!!! McNut will still win, but what fun.

Why don’t we start a movement here and draft a write in candidate.

We brought down Dan Blather. We can try this too.

A large chunk of voters writing in or not voting for that race won’t be remembered as much as a huge hunk of the populace voting 3rd party a la Perot.

People don’t remember write-ins or blanks....but they remember the huge percentage (relative) that Perot got.

If you'd like to vote a "protest" vote in KS on Saturday, Republican Caucus, you MUST only vote for one on our list (Romney and Thompson merely "suspended" their campaigns and have NOT thrown their supporters and delegates to McCain, then there is still Huckabee, Ron Paul and Alan Keys that one may select or maybe one is already your candidate of choice.)

Voters not selecting one of the remaining on list, will be tossed, not counted and otherwise, look like ALL voters voted FOR McCain.

We will treat any write-ins as blank votes and throw away!

Please come, vote and make a difference but only if you are a registered Republican, all others will not be allowed to dilute the Republican choice for their Presidential candidate.

Before writing in a candidate, check your state law. In Oklahoma, write-ins invalidate your ballot. There are 6 other states with this law as well. I’m not willing to risk invalidating my ballot for worthy candidates I want to see/stay in office.
