LOL Maybe Rowsey furniture will finaly have a real final sale.
Not good. TWC saying there is damage at the firehouse at the airport and roofs off in the industrial park
Reporter was standing outside near Beale St. Memphis and the sirens ware still going loud and clear.
Memphis TV saying Memphis Fire is saying there is major roof damage at the Hickory Hills Mall with many people trapped inside.
From the food or the tornado?
Seriously, this sounds much more serious than a simple weather alert. Seems like we should at least be changing the title to Tornado Warning.
Poor Rowsey, but that is a funny joke.
I’d like to find out more about the Clinton, AR area. Has anyone heard, did it get hit?
Storm of tears today
:(
The strong tornado that struck Oxford, MS continues to race northeast. Local law enforcement are tracking the tornado and apparently it has caused heavy damage in the vicinty of Bethlehem, MS and is making a beeline directly for Hickory Flat, MS. (per Stormtrack website)

What town are you in, Nana?
At least we can keep this thread at the top for the cubicle-bound, although they said on WTC that schools and businesses let out early in anticipation of this weather event.
I’ve requested the mods to change the title to “Major Tornado Outbreak” and place in breaking.
LOL! Yeah ...this is big!
TWC saying that the warnings won’t end until midnight in TN.
All we got in Bartlett was a LOT of rain. On the way home, I heard of a funnel cloud at Whitten Road and Yale Road. Haven’t heard of a confirmation. Still, it was a wild time. I don’t get nervous about storms, but this was a different kettle of fish. Hope you’re ok and didn’t sustain any damage. Just waiting for the squall line to get here and gone from Arkansas. We don’t need any more problems.
Deservedly so....3 deaths in Arkansas...
Thanks!
Weather tracking a 90% chance of a tornado between Holly Springs, MS, and Ripley, MS.
thanks tork,
but Shelby Co. is Memphis - way way west of me. I’m upper east corner (think Bristol)
We may get something from the system; but, the mountains often serve to diminish some of the strength.
