Every week David Jansen completely outwitted this dumb cop. Hell, even Girard's boss kept him out of the office buy sending him all over God's half-acre and around the entire country to catch Dr Kimball.

Rumor: The original ending of The Fugitive.

We all know the relatively ordinary ending of The Fugitive.

Supposedly, the original ending was this:

Lt. Gerard was having an affair with Kimball’s wife and murdered her. The One-Armed Man had broken into the house to burglarize it and had witnessed the murder. Gerard pursued Kimball in order to prevent him from catching the One-Armed Man and possibly learning and revealing the truth.

The ending was supposedly scrapped when it was learned or guessed.
