Dan Marino, Fran Tarkington, Terry Bradshaw, Bart Starr, Joe Montana, Johnny Unitas, Bob Greise, Roger Starbach, Troy Aikman, Ken Stabler, Joe Namath, John Elway, even Sonny Jurgenson and Bret Farve might all have a say about that!

By what criteria (other than people’s opinions) is one QB “the best”?

The thing about Brady, is that he's not going to get up there in statistics. But I guess the only statistic that matters is the rings on the fingers. And dating the hot babes.
I can easily see Brady try to get a 5th, or even a 6th Super Bowl rings here. (Let's get real Giants fans, the Pats are going to run the table here).

I was watching Super Bowl X the other day, and it occurred to me it would be funny as heck if Staubach and Bradshaw were suddenly replaced by Manning and Brady. I don’t think they would be used to the world of hurt that QBs lived in back then.

It’s amusing to read all of the ‘No’ responses.
Just today, Joe Theisman flatly stated that Tom Brady is the best quarterback to have ever played the game. He also noted Unitas and Montana, but said that Brady was better.
But then again, what does a quarterback like Theisman know? /s
