My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Yes, she is still around the woods, and retired with some time to talk and laugh.

I’d like to be still around the old stomping grounds except that it’s too built up now.

You two are going to have a lot to catch up on, especially if it’s been a long time since you’ve seen the old neighborhood.

Yup, we are going to do lunch after she has Cataract surgery, probably do some picnic stuff in warm weather.

She is a great gal and has faced a lot of life’s crappy side.
Huh, some call women the weaker sex. Damn!

Whoa, the wind is howling here! Snow blowing around like mad. So glad I got the groceries yesterday.;)

That’s Super! Picnic, not that’s a pleasant thought. If we get a sunny spring, picinics are the best.

We have wind here, too. It gusts between the rain and snow. One minute it looks like a tree is going to break and the next it’s completely calm.
