                  My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
 I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
 through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
 my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

GM Meg, nice window scene, stay warm, how’s the paper work coming along.
We got some snow in the early morning hours, the warning is up for a dozy of a storm, we shall see, often times we don’t get hit like some areas of the state.

Thank you, SF I liked your ping to the new thread, too.The important stuff is done..The filing is yet to be done..I will have to find another project to delay doing that..LOL
We have yet to have a freeze coupled with rain..I can do without ice storms easily..I have never experienced a real snow storm.
The sun is shining (Yea!)and I would never know it is so cold out there...until I go out to feed my flock. I went to the grocery store last night to pick up a few items, not realizing how the temps had dropped..My cotton knit jacket was definitely lacking when I walked from my car to the store ...I’ll learn !

We have probably 2 inches of snow, looks like some sleet on it, now it’s raining. I have not checked local stations for school closing, etc.
I think the nasty part is yet to arrive.
The guys who are scraping and sanding on the house are out there working, I can hear the sander.

I am so out of touch with Superman, I tell ya Seven it’s a shame.
I do dig Sci-Fi, and am into watching Blade Runner, the Directors Cut for today, tomorrow who knows, I don’t have another movie from NetFlix.
Do you watch BBC at all?? Some good Sci-Fi there.

To: Soaring Feather
I get BBC America I watch Dr Who LOL!

Hello Soaring Feather. Sorry for the absence. Been with the customer almost all week in a design review for new equipment for our troops. Then, I had to re-qualify at the range for my part-time gig. A quick review of the past post show many great poems and pictures of travel and some of snow. It is 68 degrees here and “Old Sol” is beaming brightly. Have to run off and go to the store and get people and cat food and pick up dry cleaning. Later.
