                  My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
 I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
 through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
 my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Hi Seven, time for a new thread, I was going to wait until midnight so it would be Feb 1, but I woke up at 4:30 this morning. No nap today.
Oh, the stock market, I don’t try to keep up with it. Hope Godzilla can restrain himself. LOL

This is where they give stage shows each night, awesome place.

Yep, Nancy gave it a try, and while she didn't win a car, we at least got to keep ours so I count that a win!

The room stewards do this bit with making animals from towels. In fact one of them wrote a book on it for the cruise line
(no I didn't buy one.)

Nassau, a neat place but we stayed aboard and relaxed. Those who went ashore nearly drown in a driving rain!
(talk about your timing!)

St. Tomas Harbor, the shopping port of the Caribbean

Roast beef, sliced thin as a dream and tastes almost sinfully good!!!

    Brooding Land
Howl oh bitter wind do scream
Across the black water moor
Slip thy silvered mist in silence
Over the fallen heroes and fools
And hammer thy swords into tools
Take down the torn tattered tents
Still standing under Culans Tor
Let fate take her toll I do deem
Leave the swords to rust away
Into the quickly distancing past fair
Sing of those gone as warriors true
That is all they will be remembered for
One small gift for crossing fates door
They did, as warriors are ever fate to do
Now they journey on as shades dare
Free of that sad and mortal day

We got about 4-5" of snow yesterday!
"Rotten" Kid helped me shovel/snow-blow the driveway last night.
