"Well Nully, don’t worry, it will soon be “FREE”!!"

Assuming you survive until your name comes up on the list for an available ambulance.

That may not be a good thing. My neighbor, a long retired distinguished veteran of the British Empire's army was stricken with a particularly painful form of bone cancer. When the day for his treatment arrived, the unionized ambulance crew wheeled him on a gurney to the curb, then noted that it was noon and an unannounced "work stoppage" had been called. They left him in the road.

When the dems finish with us, we'll probably enjoy similar "free" treatment.

Libby it doesn’t work that way here SO FAR. Our name does not have to come up on a list for an ambulance. In fact, the nearest ambulance station to me is 2 to 3 minutes away. A lot of things that are said are true but a lot are not. Britian is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse than Canada so far. I can’t say that it’s improving however. More healthcare cuts were announced recently. Absolutely ludicrous since they need to pour resources and health care workers into the system not stop them. I pray your country will not go this way, but it looks like they will. The problem as I see it, is that your healthcare is SO expensive that anyone without healthcare is relegated to Britian’s type, the public option and/or those who do have insurance, are finished once their insurance compancy decides they have paid enough. I don’t know of anyone here losing their entire life savings and house and everything they own to pay an outstanding debt to a hospital. For profit in some areas, is not always good but neither is the government run one. There needs to be a two tiered system. Those who can pay for tests should pay. Those who absolutely cannot, should get the test. Otherwise, your killing people for lack of MONEY. The entire thing, either side, is wrong headed. CO
