No, they have a climate like yours in regard to snow, not much. The problem for her, it's almost always cloudy or drizzling there.

We lost our snow cover in the past two weeks. It finally snowed a few inches last night, they say more is to come tonight.
I hope so, I haven't been skiing in two weeks.
