They are both actors.
Have you ever watched any of the "Lord of the Rings" movies or "Pirates of the Carrabean" movies, Orlando Bloom was in "POC" movies with Johnny Depp. and he also played the elf, Legolas, in the Lord of the Ringg movies.
As for David Tennant, He is a Scottish actor who has been in various movies and series in England and Scotland. as well as performed on stage in some of Shakespear'e plays like Hamlet and Love's Labors L:ost.
he also, until the end of 2009 has portrayed the 10th incarnation of the Doctor in the 45 yr old British Sci/Fi series "Doctor Who". Does this help on both actors?

I’ve seen the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, but none of the pirate movies.
I wasn’t really fond of the newer Dr. Who’s. After Tom Baker it just kinda went pffft. He WAS Dr. Who!

When asked, while I like the new series, I really prefer the old series better, especially with Tom Baker and Jon Pertwee.

John Pertwee was a really nice guy according to My hubby and two kids. They went to a convention and heard him give a talk. He died shortly after that. He was a good Dr. Who, but I’m stuck on Tom. Someday I want a tardis exactly like his!

I met Tom Baker, Jon Pertwee and Patrick Troughton at a convention in the late eighties. I have a drawing of Troughton as the second Doctor playing the recorder, done by a local fan. and signed by Patrick Troughton a few years before he died.
Best one I've seen of Orlando as Legolas.
I saw Jon Pertwee I think at a convention in Cleveland in around 1993. and Tom Baker, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy in the nineties at different conventions in Baltimore and Toronto as well as Anthony Ainly. and several actors and actresses from the Star Trek series (s).
