I understand. I wish our country well and pray that it can withstand 4 years of Obama. I voted against him and can not in good faith say that I wish him well or hope for his success because I am opposed to his plans.

Yes, President Bush did a wonderful job keeping us safe. For that, I am thankful. I’ll miss that marvelous man and his lovely wife.

I just love all this pomp and ceremony. I’m so glad to live in a Country where there is a (gulp) fairly peaceful transition. I thought President Bush was so very wonderful in the way he handled this. Truly he did not as others did unto him, etc.
I am always enthralled with the pomp and ceremony and the joyful participation of everyday Americans in the process. It is always a historic event because it is a peaceful transition not because of who is taking the oath. I'm always proud of us as a nation for that and grateful to our founding fathers. . LOL
Yes, President and Mrs Bush were so very gracious to the Obama family. I sure he remembers all too well the chaos of his abbreviated transistion period from the time of the election until he took the oath and then that God-awful, garish, loooooong goodby of Clinton's.

No, I heard reports about it but never watch Oprah. Biden is awful, imo. I thought it a terrible slap for Hillary but she should be used to that by now from the Bidens and others. Doesn’t make it right but does set things in order, doesn’t it?

I failed to state earlier that I vowed after the election that I would not behave like all those hateful libs did in 2000 and 2004. So, whenever I feel myself slipping I bite my tongue and go for a walk. LOL It works fairly often. :)
