On the other hand, it was a worthwhile trip. My sister's fiance threw a huge surprise party for her 50th birthday; hired a band and everything. She was very surprised. She didn't know anything about it, least of all that either me or Dawn would be there. Dawn flew in from Colorado. There were people there we hadn't seen in years. That part was fun, but not being much of a partier, I was pretty much ready to go not long after. Of course, most of my family can drink me under the table. I drink more when I visit family than the whole rest of the year combined, but no way can I keep up with them.

Just tuned in the service to see President Bush and LRua...Saw them leaving the WH..Mrs Chimpy is in one ugly suit..said in the news she had not thought about what to wear to the swearing in or ball...ha ha ha like anyone would believe that.
Just want to see the President..then off to other things until the Bush family departs..Have no interest in President Chimpy.

Not sure if any of the networks will be able to tear themselves away from the adoration of chimpy long enough to show President and Mrs Bush when they arrive back home in Texas but apparently you can watch on one of these links.....

It’s a new day and I wish the Obama’s well. God knows our Country needs him to be successful.
I’ve never seen anything like this mania going on for Obama.Whatever the fever is, I’ve failed to catch it.
Darlin’, I thought Hillary Clinton looked much nicer today than in the garb she wore on her way out the door in 2000.
Most might disagree, but those are my thoughts.

Hillary Clinton and John Cornyn, who's delaying her floor confirmation vote have been having a fairly heated discussion just out of earshot under the Washington statue in the rotunda. Lots of hand gestures, back and forth and her squeezing his forearm.
