Thankyouevers'much :) It really was a splendid win, it wasn't very pretty but it was splendid. LOL
I don't know if Coach Miles (sigh, be still my heart) ever gambles in his private life but on the field, I sure wouldn't bet against him. He isn't just a smart coach, he is a lucky one and sometimes its better to be lucky.

"Being a Vandy gurl, she will be just as happy about this: "Isn't that wonderful? Go Vandy Go! I saw that this morning and fell out of my chair. Honestly, I can remember a few games when we got there in time for half-time and left about mid-way through the 3rd. LOL

catpuppy, How bout dem Dawgs and Tim Tebow! They both looked great!
Tebow has always been impressive but I think he has gotten even better... he is scary good.
I know its early but it sure looks like we're in for a really great season.

All those teams and no one in the big gamePerhaps an SEC team won't get there this year. It's only fair that some other conference get a chance. Besides, it gets boring winning the BCS year after year. By the way, is there any truth to the rumor that Michigan wants another do-over against "bye," the only matchup where "big" Blue wins most of the time?

Yes, there are about a dozen really good teams this year. It should get interesting about mid-November.

Did y’all see the Alabama - Arkansas game? (Or as it was called down here, the Weasel Bowl.) LOL

How ‘bout those Michigan Meadow Muffins!!! :P
To: Darlin'; Lakeshark
Yes. While I know that both Arkansas and Alabama have their detractors, as an Atlanta Falcon fan I tend to favor Bobby Petrino as weasel of the year. Arkansas’s loss was our gain.

Michigan Meadow Muffins!!!A fine description for the big blues.

Maybe I should brush my shoes?

Derls, you must understand that Pup is unfortunately enraged that his "best conference ever" aka the SEC is unable to beat Michigan, no matter who plays them. So, he grits his teeth, gnashes them, makes fun in every way possible, and every year he has to eat crow and grits as the "
big blues" decimate every
SEC team that tries to beat them, as they will again whenever they meet.
It's sad, but it does ennable him to go show his battle scars to the blue hairs at the early bird specials........he claims they are from Nam, but we know better........
BTW.......the Lions are a likely target as muffins, and the only Broncos that are any good seem to be from Idaho.

... the SEC is unable to beat MichiganThe SEC seldom plays Michigan, "big blue" avoiding quality football teams and usually wallowing in mediocrity by the time the BCS Championship game comes around, often featuring an SEC team.
appalachian state ... utah ... "bye"
To: catpuppy
The SEC seldom plays MichiganMy goodness, and I thought Biden was the king of gaffers. The SEC teams played 13 games against Michigan in the past 15 or so years, most of them bowl games. Record for all to see and enjoy:
Michigan wins 11
SEC wins 2
Floriduh has lost 2 in the sad recent past of SEC debacles, and unfortunately you have been blubbling ever since.......and using the tears to impress your blue haired friends, no doubt.........so continue on with that serving of crow and grits..........

We can beat "Bye" almost any week.Well, that would be difficult considering we only play them once a season........the SEC teams on the other hand, seem beatable any time....
Did you hide this thread today in shame over your losses?
