Good morning, "Chickens". I have finally found the time and spirit to "come home to ROOST". My family concerns have finally slowed down some, and we had a Pizza party the other night with some of the kids and Grands. I am giving thoughts to a family cookout this Sunday, because it looks like it could be sunny and warm enough for swimming again, sighhh. I can't depend on Labor Day, as it could be winter by then. :(I always keep in touch with your posts when I can, and still loves ya-all. Keep up the good work, and I'll check in as often as I can. I'm still making curtains, and trying to make/or find some pants that fit me. I hate pants! You think it's easy to diet and find new cloths??? Shite!

Be Bad...as usual. ;)
(Why would you change?)

Morning Gran, glad you're alive and well up there in the tundra of New England. I think the chill wind you're feeling is either from Darks hanging around, or maybe it's just the newspaper and television reporting on the greatness of Obama.
Nice day here, upper seventies, and a great boating/ swimming day coming up. Not just Michael Phelps swimming, but all us local sweetwater fishies frolicing in our overly large lake.
We await your newest cartoon with fear and trembling......
:-)

Our little road has a concentration of moonbats who put out juvenile slogan signs all the time.
I noticed a brand new sign by a neighbor that was put out just in the last few days.......it said "No War"
The irony of the timing for these moonbats is delicious.
I want to go put out a sign next to it that says "in Georgia, Go Dawgs!"

Interestingly enough, we have a pro-kremlin troll currently pimping for putin.
He signed up last year, got quiet real quick, and comes out with several statements that Georgia is commiting crimes...
*snort*
I think he may live near you.

Darks, your German is fantastic! I actually understand you better! :)

Hey, Gran just did a drive-by post! Glad you popped in Gran. Like sunshine on a rainy day. :)
I’m glad things are slowing down and you can relax a little. That’s what summer is all about!
ou’re probably gonna pop me in the head for this but here goes....I’ve heard that some people when dieting wear maternity pants in the interim. Makes sense to me!
To: grannie9
Mornin Gran,
Lovely pic there, wish I were fishing.

I hate those stupid “no war” signs. Yeah, let’s just all hold hands and sing and have a big group hug.....like it’s that easy.
Those simpletons just don’t get the fact that freedom isn’t free.
To: Lakeshark
You know..I hoping the scarcity of signs in our area means few “Moonbats”, (in other-words few Demonrats.) I just hope that NH pulls itself together and goes Pubbie this time. Of course the colleges will vote wrong, as usual, sighhhh...
With colleges and Mass-*oles, we’ll have a fight on our hands.

Groan....I just came back online. We had torrential rains again and big thunder-boomers. It had better get out of here by tomorrow, as I have a gang coming to swim, eat and play.
Are you going to watch the “odd” debate tonight? It may be interesting,....and then again.........:(
Keep that Dorsal fin dry...and don’t bite on any pointed sticks.

Bless your sweet little heart! It just got through raining and thundering here....again.
Some things are slowing down, but tomorrow is family cook-out here. Lots of grub to get together, lots of eating, drinking, swimming and probably a bit of cursing too, (ya know what I mean?) Maybe the music will drown the cursing out, lol.
Silly gurl, my daughter told me that a month ago, and I gave it some thought this morning too. I’m a-feared tho...what if I get preggy for real????? Yikes, might be pushing my luck there.
Is Darks around? He could put the curse on me. ;)

Thank you Doggie. LOL, I wish I was fishing too. If it doesn’t stop raining, I’ll be able to fish off my back porch.
