Forgive me for sounding flip about this very serious situation. Georgia has been one of our allies in Iraq. They have 2,000 troops in Iraq who have been called home to help defend their country. Now, Georgia is asking for our help. The last thing we need is to be involved in a conflict in that part of the world.

It is good to be home even after the warm welcome by Taco and his total ignoring session today. I have a mountain of mail and dust and housework and laundry to get through before I have much time to play in the playground here but will do my best to jump back into the conversations... will send Granny some pictures later..just a couple, Gran..of Iceland when I get them downloaded and edited.

Yes, I saw it. I was out of my chair and cheering at the top of my voice. It was amazing.
The unexpected bronze medal win by our men's gymnastic team was very cool, too.

Unbelievable.It was incredible. I swear that the American swimmer was down by half a length with just a few yards to go, was taking fewer strokes, but somehow managed to get to the wall first.
