Muslim Arabs are good.
Caucasian Americans [and Germans] are evil.
Islam is a religion of peace.
There were some good conservative ties to this show.
For instance, Mark Harmon's grandfather was William Franklin Knox, who was Alf Landon's VP running mate on the GOP ticket in 1936:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Knox#FamilyAnd Michael Weatherly had a prominent supporting role in Whit Stillman's The Last Days of Disco:

And the show even has an Israeli agent in a prominent role [albeit portrayed by a Chilean actress]:

I have felt the bias in previous episodes but fought the urge to turn off the show. If this is as bad as it sounds I will be gone. Sad. This was one of the only shows that I watched faithfully.
Yeah, Deal or No Deal is about to jump the shark, too. Saw a commercial tonight where they are going to have ellen degeneres as one of the models...
It was a bit thick.
And the bad guys turned out to be converted white guys.
watched the show...bad white guy converted to Islam in PRISON !!! Germans are “safe” bad guys. Pretty good show considering it’s written by Hollywierd liberals.
Not one of their better episodes. But it wasn’t as bad as all that.
You lasted a whole lot longer than I did. The show has been going to pot for a long long time. Like with all seeBS shows, they ultimately turn to the dark side.
Converted *mercenaries.* I didn’t think it was a bad show at all.
It is.
I will be gone.
Me too.
Shame - I really wanted to see how the chemistry would work out between DiNozzo & Ziva.
Also to find out who would be the first to score with Abby. [Lately, she's been having a lot of chemistry with Gibbs, of all people.]
Oh well, it was CBS - what else should I have expected?
WTF? 500 years ago, 1508, America didn't exist. The only Europeans in the Western Hemisphere were still stuck in the Caribbean.
500 years ago (for that matter up to 1683, not much more than 300 years ago), most Muslims thought Islam was still on the offensive against the Dar al Harb.
The oppression of the West against Islam cannot at most be predated before Bonaparte's invasion of Egypt in 1798, or just a little over 200 years.
Real Western oppression cannot be predated before WWI's aftermath, or less than 100 years, and cannot be realistically extended past WWII. IOW, Western oppression lasted something like 30 to 100 years in the millenias-long history of the Middle East.
I wish TV characters would occasionally challenge idiotic statements like the above.
For a while there, it looked like maybe Harmon's character was going to speak up, and make Ducky look like the spineless PC moron he was, but, alas, it was not to be.
Oh well, so much for NCIS.
Jeez guys, I read the interview with Don Bellisario: the ex Marine who is pro US and pro military.
This guy wrote and created MAGNUM PI: unlie lib Hollywood, he depicted Vietnam Vets who are not crazy, and in a normal light.
This could be NOT his fault but probably some lib CBS exec who told him to change it.
I pass by his production co here in Hollywood every day on Gower and his building was the first one to told the WGA strikers to GTFO of the premises.
Just more hollywierd PC BS.
And the writers wonder why nobody cares that they’ve gone on strike.
If you want to watch some *good* TV, anime has come a hell of a long way. I’m currently plowing through Trinity Blood, which is a recapitulation of Renaissance-era European politics with a fantasy/SF twist.

Really stupid episode. FInally, a network television show features not one but two evil, homicidal Muslim jihadi...and both are white converts. *eyeroll*
I had to laugh at the part about the white guy converting to Islam in prison. Yeah, you see that all the time.
Ha, I was waiting for DiNozo & Ziva to hook up, too. DiNozo wouldn’t have known what hit him (so to speak).
LaGrenouille’s daughter was quite the babe and that about did him in. Then there’s “the Director’s” longings for both LG and Gibbs. Of course, there’s also that Army “gal” that Gibbs tolerates.
Abby and Proby get along well as geekalikes, but she deserves better - and much much better than the little guy who really died in real life.
Hope it continues.
See, I thought Ducky did just fine - very Christian, doing the right thing, leading by example (even if it was to make up for something he regretted in his past) - and he did actually cheat, so “our side” won.
The original poster was actually quite gentle. We watched all the way through in hopes that they would redeem themselves. They didn’t. We wondered if they had CAIR come do the writing while the regular writers were on strike.
We’re done with this show.
