LMAO!!
Google image search...:-)
I think I’m the only person who liked Amanda. LOL
Admittedly though, I was only paying very slight attention to the show for the first hour.
Some of them have been having a real tough time singing in sync and in tune with the band that’s moved up to the second level 100 - 150 feet away.
The good news about that move, though, is that the vocals are no longer getting buried by the instruments on stage. We can actually hear the vocals now , , , , which is not good for some of the contestants.
I agree that some great speeches were given by Bush 43...esp. after 9-11. But,we know the media is all liberal and would never say anything commdending him.
Jonny-—Did David A. say something political?
I have never been moved by a Bush speech. Occasionally he has a few good lines, but I have a hard time getting into his speeches. I can still listen to Reagan speeches and be moved. There are very few lines Bush will be remembered for, perhaps his most memorable is "You are either with us or against us", but many liberals see that as divisive.
“Blossom” ...did I miss something?
As I recall, Cheetah Girl was curvy, but lost a bunch of weight...fast. It may happen to this girl too.
Hi Hetty. Yes, that's a verbatim quote of the closing passage of President George W. Bush's first inaugural speech. Here's a link to the transcript on the White House website. It touches on many of the same themes Obama blathered about yesterday, but GWB's speech blows Obama's away in terms of its quality, dignity, and sincerity.
It's a beautiful speech. Of course, it was given by a Republican, so it doesn't qualify as a great speech according to the Left in the MSM and academia.
Neither would too many people who call themselves conservatives and Republicans. That's the reason I have become absolutely sickened by politics.
Sorry for the late posts, I have school on Tuesdays and stay up verrrry late watching AI on tape.
I like Amanda, but would have loved to hear her try "Oh! Darling". This is about as close to a ballad as I think she could get.
Unfortunately she keeps sounding like she's always doing a Janice Joplin impression and needs to change it up to stand out.

If I could describe this week in one word - I'd choose "Ordinary." We're looking for singers with star power, and I'm just not seeing it. Seacrest is still pimping this as the "Best Ever," but I just don't see it.
Anyway... here we geaux!
Amanda: The VFTW Queen says "Ballads are boring." Shhh... Don't tell monchichi.
Monchichi: Speak of the devil. No. He really is evil. Singing the long and winding ballad. FRiends, we have a cure for insomnia.
Oops! I skipped Kristy: She real purdy. Don't know what she sang, but she purdy...
Michael: I remember him from the movie "300." This is SPAAARRRRRRRRRRRGH! Damn, that was painful.
Brooke: Honey, I love you - but you need to eat a sandwich, girl - and pray that AI has a Tori Amos week.
The one true David: Man, we need a Frampton week. Everyone, grab a vocoder! bwahhh. bwa bwa bwa bwa bwahhhh... bwa bwa bwa bwah.
Carly: Check out the captioning... Not photoshopped.
Carly: - Fox:
Jason: Dude... it's like French... hehheheh.
Syesha: One bonus claw for each puppy.
Chikezie: Why you quit with the Carlton Banks look? WHY????? Your stylist sucks. One claw penalty.
Ramiele: Bet she can't walk and chew gum at the same time either...
This week was really mediocre - some took chances with their styles, and they just didn't pan out like they intended. Perhaps TPTB should have just stuck with one Beatles week.
Hey, who wants to bet that tonight's group numbner (sic) will be Yellow Submarine?
I won't be on the thread tonight - Wednesday is Bowling Night, so I'll check in late. C-YA!
check on www.newegg.com and see how much they are there. You can usually get some good deals.
This guy makes a box o' rocks look Einstein-esque. Apparently there's some attraction in that. My daughter and I were laughing at the older ladies in the audience screaming for him.
