Description of book:
At its heart, this book is a comforting companion and helpful counselor for average Christians interacting with the law, perhaps feeling bewildered, overwhelmed, or uneasy about how their legal situations align with their Christian morals and beliefs. The book is comprehensive in scope, but written in a friendly, conversational tone. The legal topics addressed are carefully selected to cover those most likely to be encountered by regular folks in the course of their everyday lives. By presenting a practical Christian perspective informed by God's rich array of relevant scriptural wisdom, this book will release multitudes of Christian believers from the tangled web of moral confusion and ethical compromise so often promoted and exacerbated by lawyers and the legal establishment. Readers will be enlightened, encouraged in their faith, and empowered in their ability to make sound decisions to honor that faith, even in the high-stakes, pressure-filled secular legal arena.

Thank you for your late night vigil! See you around today!
It's the classic human problem - repeated over and over through the so often tragic history of the world, from the Tower of Babel to the Soviet Union and whatever horrible (but well-intentioned) utopian scheme is waiting for us next. Any plan that doesn't first acknowledge the fallen sinful state of man's heart is doomed from the start.
Amen.

Wow, thanks for that BIG pro-life ping, narses!
Oh, and thank you for all your diligent work in protecting precious human lives!
I’m glad to help keep the thread active, dear brother in Christ!
Thanks again A-G, bb and everyone for joining or lurking on this thread!
I trust all of you will be blessed by the book, whether in the midst of some current legal situation you face or some inevitable legal situation you’ll face in the future.
I am a bit surprised that more of our FReeper lawyers haven’t weighed in - a few have, but I know there are many more on the forum. Anyone have a legal or lawyers ping list? And if your lawyer is not a FReeper, tell them about the book (or give them a copy as a gift!) - it might make a difference.
I do not know of a lawyer's ping list - but there are many here.
self ping
Congratulations!!!!!
Thank you, Tenth!
I confirmed with my publisher today that the book will be on Amazon.com - - - not sure when, but I'll let folks know as soon as that happens. And, of course, it will continue to be available on christianbook.com, which is the largest Christian book distributor.
Thank you for alerting me to your new book.
This index, says it is going to be valuable to many people, the kind of information that all of us can use.
I am proud of you, writing a book is a large task.
Did you see this thread on LikeLight’s book that is being published?
The index shows it will be useful to all of us.
I trust that it will really help many people find hope, restoration and reconciliation in the midst of all the ugliness that so much of our secular legal culture seems to provoke.
And thanks so much for helping pass the word to your FRiends!
Congrats LikeLight. May good fortune be your constant companion.
Thanks FRiend!
Great news! Amazon is a regular stop for many.
