My doc said it was for seizures but that it "had been found to help" pain patients. What a crock. Why not just use prescription painkillers that were MADE FOR PAIN?!?!?!
Not yelling at you dude, just at doctors who'd rather use patients in pain as guinea pigs then simply give them proven medicines for their pain.

Hey Dude
There are differnt type of pain, including neuropathic pain, where only specific types of meds work without knocking you out.
Guinea Pigs? 50% of all prescription that are written are for conditions that don't have a FDA-approved indication.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but your venom is misplaced.

Don’t know what you’re injury was but neurotin is used for nerve pain as it affects the neurotransmitters in some way. It does not good, for instance, if I have a headache (I still have to take aspirin) or for my arthritis pain, but it does a very good job on my neuropathy pain in my hands and feet.
