Well, she tried to start one in the back of my left hand, but she wasn't happy with it ... didn't get enough blood or something.

She then went to the back of my right hand, but didn't like any veins there, either. So she went back to the left arm, and put the IV in the bend of my elbow. She was pleased with it, and I was able to move the arm a bit.

But it did sting, badly ... I just hate needles, is all.

<smirk>I have a stock story I tell whenever I'm getting stuck ... I had to tell a second story for the second stick. I chose the podiatrist tale, which led to the nurse telling a even more grotesque podiatrist story. We bonded.

So glad it went well! Make Bear take good care of ya for a couple days :)

I got the results of my mri today... no lumps in my head, as expected. I coulda told the doc that but he wanted to be sure.

Heh, I got real good juicy looking veins, but lab folks sometimes have problems because they’re pretty deep.
