Only in Western Washington...
The drive home was interesting because I was having trouble seeing. Why? Well, because it was raining so hard the wipers were having trouble keeping up. And the sun was glaring down. At the same time.
Then it hailed.
Did you see the frogs? And the locusts?
Let’s go with your forecast.
Personally, I prefer the Dillon Aerospace Chevy Suburban with the minigun. But it's a bit out of my price range.
Heh...
I did see a huge rainbow when I was walking. But I think that’s a different Bible story...
I'll mail both sets shortly. I have no real need for them.
I certainly hope you have peace.
The service is tomorrow, right? Did things go OK today? I will be thinking of you in the days to come.
((((frog))))
Heh. Okay.
I’m wanting to see some seeds sprouting.
And the morning and the evening were the second day.
More drywall today.
Also saw a video with some incredible images but also with a very political slant. I give them some slack because it was done in 2005 and because there is still a lot of frustration and pain. They need to blame someone.
The whole place is still such a cluster...
Downtown and the French Quarter are basically back and just as smarmy as ever. But the recovery of the neighborhoods will take years.
Both the visitation and the service are tomorrow. I just didn’t know if I could go through two separate days of it.
Oh I can understand that. Good idea, I do hope it’s all nice and feels right tomorrow. It really helps.
More (((hugs))) and prayers to get you through the day.
Bored meeting today. But at least I get to play stump the chump which is *always* fun. The speaker dude wants to brief my boss’s boss’s boss and I’ve been tasked with thoroughly “vetting” his claims. Why my NewBoss thinks I’m well-suited to this type of thing, I don’t know. ;)
Busy day today, first we work, then we drive to MO. Bother’s graduation tomorrow.
Frog,
I’m traveling but I wanted to tell you I’m sorry for your loss. You remain in our thoughts and prayers.
Thanks to you all for the continued thoughts and prayers. Corin, I know that you understand more than most, since you’ve been through a lot of the same things yourself with Nana.
Be ready to open the case and let them read it off... stow it in the trunk, separately from the ammo...
driver’s licence, registration, prrof of insurance to get a base vehicle pass...
you gonna be here what, the 17th and 18th?
No, tomorrow and Friday. Tomorrow’s the graduation.
Thanks for mentioning the insurance... we had to print out new cards for that...
((hugs))
