Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Shameless...
So...how’s thenewjob going?
Indeed. We had sleet here this morning.
Yeah, it’s spring ~here~ too...
:-(
That’s great, plants with a history are sometimes the best kind.
Glad we had a nice morning and afternoon, the gardening felt great.
Sleet? Well, I’ll be..sounds like the Midwest, Tulips blooming one week, the next - POW - sleet and etc.
Afternoon MissRose - we all appreciated the newjob report. Hope it turns out to be a good thing. In the meantime it’s a paycheck and the opportunity for breakfrast tacos. That alone could prove interesting indeed.
Well...like you said, could be a good thing, could be a bad thing. In the meantime...I’m guessing you get more say in your job description and all than you might in a more established place, and that’s gotta be interesting, huh?
And homemade breakfast tacos are an excellent perk... Mmmm...
It’ll be april in two days, can we have spring now?
And, yeah, the tacos are really delish. I'm hoping she sells tamales at Christmas. Yum-yum-YUM!
I hope to start test-driving cars in 30-45 days ...
I had Spring last week. But I apparently misplaced it...
How careless of you! ;o)
We did a couple of hours of work in the back yard today, leveling out where we'd poured the post last fall, and getting ready so we can pour some more on the next clear day, which, I think, is Wednesday.
Oh, and in case you read this in time, the ISS and Jules Verne will be flying over y'all about 8:15 to 8:17 or so this evening. It should be coming up and over coming from the West North West, and it will be almost right over you, heading East North East. I think the ISS is first tonight, and it will be brighter than the Jules Verne which will follow a couple of minutes later. SirKit said they won't be quite as bright tonight as they were last night, but you should still be able to see them.
Thanks. But it’s too overcast out there tonight. I just checked again.
Well, we did see the ISS again, nice and bright, but we couldn’t see the Jules Verne. Don’t know if it came over before, or much after, but either way, it was too dim to be seen. It’s going to be cloudy here tomorrow night, so we won’t likely see it again for a few more days, if it comes over our way again.
Awwwww. Cute!
Ungh. Monday. Make it stop! Make it stop!
Ungh, why did it come so early?
