The Hobbit Hole XXXV - ...is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
Posted on 01/03/2008 6:35:58 PM PST by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

My Mama loved Fried Eggplant, and made a Shrimp Eggplant Casserole. I didn’t like either, cause I think eggplant is bitter. Maybe you can prepare it so it’s not, but she apparently didn’t know how to do that.

Heh, don't forget, I have about 25 more years of driving experience than you. ;o) The salesman and I were just chatting away while SirKit sat in the back, over the battery.
Apparently Lexus is coming out with a complete re-design for the 2010 model year hybrids, so I'm curious about what that will be. I was also disappointed that the gas engine kicks in at about 20mph. I'd love to have a hybrid that would stay on electric power until more like 35 mph. That way, I could do most of my around town driving on electric, rather than gas, power. I'll be looking at some other hybrids to see what's out there. We're not in the market yet, so we have plenty of time.

Hyacinth is a nice bright blue flower, and that sounds Hobbit-ty.

Ok - that’s just as frightening in the early AM as it was yesterday.

I think both she and Obama can be stopped.
It’s just a regrettable shame that all we have to stop them with is John McCain.
