The Hobbit Hole XXXV - ...is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

Posted on 01/03/2008 6:35:58 PM PST by HairOfTheDog

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Well, if it’s CSCR, it’ll go away on it’s own after a few months, probably. It’s kinda like a blister.

I don’t know about the stroke...maybe they can zap with a laser?

Can CSCR be caused by high blood pressure?

So that’d be the best diagnosis, huh?

It can contribute to it. So can stress. Oh great...here we go again. Everyone is gonna skip the fact that high bp can cause it...and go right to the stress. Gonna try to put me nerve pills again, you just watch.

Spray me with a hose.

Anyway, I don’t know which would be the best diagnosis...maybe the stroke will just resolve it’s self over time too...I don’t know.

We’ll see!

Not this weekend. Maybe sometime in the near future, though.

Also might go look at a Scion xD.

LOL!

I don’t know why anyone would think you’re high strung... ;-) I’m just sayin’.

Just teasing...

Hope it turns out OK...and that they don’t try to give you more drugs!

Personally, I think folks who are under stress normally experience high blood pressure and it’s the high bp that causes the CSCR.

Since my BP goes DOWN during stressful situations, then in my case it would be just the pure BP alone that caused it.

Just so long as they don't try to put you in a nervous hospital. ;o)

Just Googled the Scion xD. That’s a CUTE car! I believe they’re made by Toyota.

Not quite a bread box. More like a miniature of what you’d get if a Toyota Matrix mated with an old Mack truck. Or somethin’.

They’re not quite in the so-ugly-they’re-cute category. Interesting looking, though. The definitely don’t have the itty-bitty cartoon minivan look of the Fit.

Nooo scions! They have the stoopidest commercials ever.

The internet radio station Talon and I listen to lots has all these dumb, dumb scion commercials. The car must be aimed at 20 year old guys from the commercials. Bleah.

There aren’t any Scion commercials here...so I’ve not been insulted by ‘em yet. ;-)

The station I listen to mostly has pretentious Lexus and BMW and Volvo commercials, plus obnoxious VW lease deal commercials and overly perky Subaru commercials.

Actually, if I was gonna buy a car based on commercials, I’d go for a Mazda.

Zoom zoom zoom...
