Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
hehehe... Yep, that was running through my head too. Good thing I’m not registered so I can’t post there.
I’m BACK from selling the chocolate in front of Walmart!
I left this house with three boxes (well, ok...one was minus two candy bars, but I PAID FOR THEM) worth $40 each and six hours later I came home with....[insert drum roll]....
$144.59!
Are we good at fundraising or WHAT?
:-)
Did you see Becky there?
She started work there today.
And yes... nice job! :~D
No!! I never could even go in! I was almost constantly afraid I would get mugged! Celeste came by to see me and I got to go to the bathroom once!
I wonder if she is on the floor working or in class?
Thank you very much...you could pat me on the back if my own arm wasn’t in the way!
;-)
LOL! Are you reading popsicle sticks?
The budget models tend to be manual, too.
But I just drove home in the rain. I’m thinkin’ a white-knuckle driver like me doesn’t need additional distractions...
It just occurred to me that you said you were selling Hebert candy bars! The Hebert company is located in our town! Now the family sold the company a few years ago, but I think they still make the candy there. Our kids used to sell Hebert candy bars ALL the time for Boy Scouts, St. Mary’s School trips, whatever. They are VEY tasty!
LOL! I wouldn't want to drive one on a dry, clear day!
Good job!
Just sent the last necessary info off to the bank (thanks for lettin’ me use your fax machine, Hair!)...if all goes well I’ll have a pre-approved loan in hand by tomorrow. Then I can go back to the dealerships to start to seriously talk turkey.
‘Cause I’ll have all my ducks in a row.
But no geese.
I want a grey goose named Gandalf.
Tomorrow is Pi Day! I’m baking pecan pies tonight.
Also I bought a gun.
You know...that post beautifully sums you up. ;-)
Geese are evil!
The goose would turn out to be Sauruman, not Gandalf...
Doesn't it look like Bay has a reeeally long neck? ;~)
So what didja get?
*snort*
Yes it does. Baygiraffe.
