but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Um yeah. I’ll get right on that.
So weather you show them, breed them, have them as pets or even hunt them,come in and share your stories and pictures with us.
I wander if ducks would like this cold whether we’re having.
Ungh...now you’ve got me fretting.

I forget about it when the weather is warmer, but with it being cold today, it was LOUD the few times I had to stop before it warmed up.
There are older and fowler things than misspellings in the deep places of the world.

Oh, we had a fun time last night. We were looking for a movie, and didn't find anything immediately on the Instant Netflix list we particularly wanted to see, so SirKit checked out the Pay Per View on our Cable system. We found Shoot Em Up. Oh my. It's chock full of gunplay, and other kinds of play, but it was written to be as completely over the top as it could be. As a result, it was also hilarious! Paul Giamatti is the bad guy chasing Clive Owen, who has delivered a baby in the middle of a gun battle in the first five minutes of the movie. The body count on this movie is well into a hundred.
It's definitely NOT for the under 17 crowd. Joseph watched with us for a bit, and even HE thought it was a bit much. So SirKit, David and I watched the rest of it. It's wild, mindless fun.
OK - we watched it last night, and my goal for today was to find someone who liked it and whack them with a fish. 
This morning we saw Medved's review where he called it the best movie of the year. Huh?
We're not prudes, we just didn't like ~any~ of the characters! (OK... I thought the suicidal gay uncle was fairly likable)

Speaking of violence...I hope nothing happens to our house...
I was sitting out in Oz yesterday...just enjoying my car...watching these three girls standing on the street corner. One was drinking a soda and when she was done she looked around then threw the bottle in my neighbor’s yard!
I got a bit miffed.
I got out of my car just as she walked by and asked
“Hey! You just gonna leave that bottle there?”
She never said a word, but looked at her companions and then walked slowly back and got the bottle. After she started walking back by I said
“Throwing trash in other people’s yard is TACKY!”
Still no word and no eye contact.
“We may not be rich folks but we aren’t slobs!” says I...
then “See, look here...here’s a trash can right by my house and if you look around there are trash cans by every house on this block...you can use any one of them, we won’t mind!”
The girl never even acknowledged me.
Sigh...probably get my house egged for that little rant.
Some people just have no class.
