Yay! I *finally* finished off the yellow trellis pattern afghan I started in Fort Collins. Only took me two years.
Actually, all I did was accept that I’m not going to find more of that yarn, don’t want to bother with mail ordering it, and that I had enough to put a final row of single crochet on as a finishing row. It’s still just over 50 inches long, so it’ll do.
I need more yarn now...
What number of cups per day would you consider ‘moderation’? Right now, he drinks a couple of cans of Diet Coke for his caffeine boost, and even though the Green Tea doesn’t have as much caffeine, it does have some, so he was looking to replace the Coke with the tea. Would 3 or 4 cups a day be too much?
I’ve reduced my coffee consumption to one cup a day. Not because of caffeine, which strangely, was never mentioned by any of the cardiac folks, but because of liquid restrictions. I thoroughly enjoy that one cup. ;o) I wouldn’t mind Green Tea as a substitute, but I can’t drink it right now because of the Coumadin. When I go off that, as well as the liquid restrictions, I might enjoy a cup or two each day. I like flavored teas, a lot, and saw an Earl Grey Green listed on the Stash website. That sounded interesting, and I’ll check that out when I can drink green tea again.
Welcome!! Whereabouts in GA are you? I’m a Southern gal, living in MA, but we’re planning a move back home to MS as soon as we can get r done!
I like green tea and have 2 boxes of it in the cupboard, but Earl Grey tastes like furniture polish, imo.
Picture, please!!
Do you mean the regular Earl Grey, or the Green Earl Grey?
Yay!
My husband is up on the roof sawing branches. *nervous*.
The regular, I’ve never heard of the green kind.

Eek!
I’ll have to look it up....guess I could always compost it.
Elves go for the "Three E's" in weaponry. Elegant, Exotic, Effective. This is what they'd use today:
Definitely not an orc weapon. I'm sure Tolkien would have approved if he ever saw one. He probably could have found good use for it in the trenches of WW1.
Me, well, I’d spring for a Barrett .50 cal. ;) It fits the criteria.
OMG, Rosie, that is GORGEOUS!! Wow! I love that pattern!
Honestly, for me, because my thyroid is super sensitive to things like that, moderation for me would be a couple times a week. In practice, I’ll have a cuppa ti (as they say in ol’ Alba) once in a blue moon. I avoid soy for the same reasons. But lots (most??) of folks have no problems whatsoever. I’m pretty sure there are “low fluoride” teas on the market, but I’ve never had any.
Oooh, I like that one!
And, thank you for your service!
He made me get up there and help. Ack. I did not like that. But the branch is down now.
I agree, and I suspect it SHOULD be a little less expensive than the CDP Ultra II....
Going to check it out.....
Thanks for the tip.... I should check the Kimber site more often than I do..... But since their product never misbehaves, no reason to contact them or check out their user’s forums.....
