The Hobbit Hole XXXV - ...is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

Posted on 01/03/2008 6:35:58 PM PST by HairOfTheDog

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

I don’t think most people get Monday... we don’t, that’s fer sure.

It’s going to be really cold here this weekend. I don’t think it’ll get up to zero either day.

It’s above freezing here. Not by much, but that’s still a lotta degrees more than there...

We’re supposed to get rain, though. Big surprise there.

Who needs a stick when you’ve got a flame thrower?

Well, we’re done with this part. We packed up the house this morning and G’nad is getting his last round...then we’re off. It’ll be good to get back home. I miss the kids, but it has been very nice to be here for my man...and hey, we got to watch themovies together.

Thank you all for your prayers...and as you continue to pray.

Mrsnad

If I bite my tongue much harder, it’s gonna bleed.

Guys in the office are talking about how kids really *need* daycare for socialization after the first six months or so, and stay-at-home mothers damage their kids.

Good grief. Six months?!

One of the nice things about working at an engineering place is most of the guys have stay at home wives adn don’t spout that nonsense.
