My name is Gennady Stolyarov II. In August of 2002, I founded The Rational Argumentator, an online magazine that has consistently presented and promoted the ideas of reason and liberty and the emancipation of individuals from the stifling grip of political tyranny. Today, the United States of America is faced with an unprecedented opportunity to bring the goal of complete individual liberty to fruition. Never before have the prospects for reversing the onward march of statism and central planning looked so bright as today - but this may also be our last chance to avert an economic calamity of unprecedented proportions. Accordingly, I am pleased to announce my full, unreserved endorsement of Ron Paul for President in the 2008 election.
If there is one word to describe the agenda of Ron Paul, it is liberty. If there is one text in which Ron Paul's ideas are encapsulated, it is the U. S. Constitution. The unwavering consistency with which Dr. Paul has defended liberty and the Constitution is astonishing in a world dominated by ceaselessly flip-flopping, compromising, backstabbing politicians. Dr. Paul is known in Congress as "Dr. No" for his steadfast refusal to vote in favor of any act of government that is not explicitly authorized by the Constitution. Representative Paul recognizes that simply because a particular action or principle might be good or valuable does not imply that the government ought to use taxpayer funds to pursue that action or principle. Dr. Paul, having practiced medicine as an obstetrician for decades, understands the vital importance of medicine - but he rightly refuses to allow the government to usurp this field.

G. Stolyarov II,
Editor-in-Chief,
IBTZ!
Got’cher asbestos underwear on? Today’s been a day for Paul-bashing, and you just invited a bunch...
Blog Pimpin Alert!!!
Does Ron Paul know?
Apparently, most of the people who support Ron Paul don’t know much about him beyond his anti-war and anti-everbody else in politics mantra.
So, what exactly is it that makes you tingle about Ron?
G. Stolyarov II is a science fiction novelist, independent essayist, poet, amateur mathematician, composer, contributor to Enter Stage Right, Le Quebecois Libre, Rebirth of Reason, the Ludwig von Mises Institute, The Liberal Institute, and The Rational Argumentator.
Or lunacy. I think lunacy might be more apt.
"Cowardice" comes to mind, and "surrender"... but for an all
encompassing Ron Paul one word description, I'll go with lunacy.
Good question for the Paul supporters.
Couple of reasons I don’t support him is his stand on defense including the WOT. Another is his stand on drugs. He wants to legalize them all. His performance on Meet The Press was not impressive at all. So that is why he is at the bottom of my list.
“G. Stolyarov II is a science fiction novelist, independent essayist, poet, amateur mathematician, composer, contributor to Enter Stage Right, Le Quebecois Libre, Rebirth of Reason, the Ludwig von Mises Institute, The Liberal Institute, and The Rational Argumentator.”
But all of that pales before the audacity of providing at his Rational Argumentator website a Journal for Western Man. Think of it, for Western Man! Why, the sheer amateur competence such an immensely vital enterprise calls forth.
May we dare to hope that some day he will further ascend the Olympian heights of Western philanthropic magnanimity to the point that he might deign to offer to the cosmos A Journal for Cosmic Man titled “The Irrational Argumentator”? Can sufficient tinfoil be found in the universe to cover the pates of those who fill its pages with their profoundities?
You have every right to endorse Mr. Paul, and vote for him, too. Bless your heart!
I hereby formally announce my unwavering endorsement for Cherry pie! Warm. With a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
My guess is you're saying that the majority of the American electorate (including the Cook County dead ones and the illegals who will no doubt vote) are a vast, unwashed, tatooed, earringed gaggle of louts.
(And you'd be right.)
Fortunately not many of these imbeciles vote, unless like in Florida where they rounded up a bunch of welfare recipients and loaded them into cattle trucks to be driven to the polls. They were so baffled by the mechanics of casting a ballot that....well, you know the rest.
Our 'democracy' has become a farce and the only winners are the liberal pansies we keep sending to Washington to rule over our lives.

If there is one word to describe the agenda of Ron Paul....it is ‘confused’.
Paul was never able to get one piece of his legislation through the process. He was a failure as a legislator.
Heres where the Paul small government argument breaks down.
In a ten year period Ron CO SPONSORED 1876 bills written by other people. Thats 1000 more than Duncan Hunter. Now if you believe those 1876 bills were all to decrease government (remember written by others who Paul supporters say NEVER lower government!) , I don’t know what to tell you.
Ron Paul has proved he cant govern. He has a zero record of accomplishments, except for pushing 1876 bills others wrote through congress. Small government guy?
Just for comparison of actual accomplishments in congress:
Sponsored means he wrote or introduced the bill. Co sponsors sign on to other bills written by someone else.
Statistics: Duncan Hunter has sponsored 105 bills since Jan 7, 1997, of which 72 havent made it out of committee (Average)
and 10 were successfully enacted (Good, relative to peers).
Hunter has co-sponsored 894 bills during the same time period (Average, relative to peers).
Now take a look at Ron Paul, who claims many accomplishments and would never vote for any frivolous, unconstitutional bill!
Statistics: Ronald Paul has sponsored 346 bills since Jan 7, 1997, of which 341 havent made it out of committee (Extremely Poor) and 0 were successfully enacted .(Average, relative to peers).
Paul has co-sponsored 1876 bills during the same time period (Average, relative to peers) NOTE: 1876 bills, written by other congress members. All constitutional ? You decide.

One of the stranger pieces of legislation that Paul Co sponsored would have kept him out of the debates!!
. H.CON.RES.263 : Expressing the sense of Congress that any Presidential candidate should be permitted to participate in debates among candidates if at least 5 percent of respondents in national public opinion polls of all eligible voters support the candidates election for President or if a majority of respondents in such polls support the candidates participation in such debates. Sponsor: Rep Jackson, Jesse L., Jr. [IL-2] (introduced 11/6/2001) Cosponsors (2)

Take note of the ultra liberal socialists in congress he signed on with.
Here’s the thing about Ron Paul.
Even if I thought that Ron Paul advocated an important set of principles and beliefs as regards liberty or freedom (rather than, say, a portfolio of proposals culled from a state of immense dementia), um, I would NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS believe that any of his ideas could be enacted via the democratic process, even if he were elected president.
Do you see what I’m getting at here?
It’s not just a matter of “he can’t win.” It is more like, “if he did, so what?” This is kinda like Huckleberry’s “Fair Tax” (oxymoron for sure). Exactly how many votes does the Huck have in Congress at this point for the abolition of the federal income tax? Name five. Um, well, um, maybe.... Well how about Ron Paul...?
Why do people like Paul run for president? Only through a cataclysmic and likely violent revolution is any of what Paul is advocating ever going to occur. Why isn’t he skipping the presidential thing and just asking his followers to grab their pitchforks, light their torches, posse up....? And, sure, there are days when any of us might want to do this, given how bad things have become for conservatives.
But Paul runs for president instead. He is either too dumb to know that nothing he proposes can ever occur, or he knows this and just wants to be president anyway and doesn’t care what he says to get there. Kinda reminds you of Rodham et. al., doesn’t it?
“My name is Gennady Stolyarov II. In August of 2002, I founded The Rational Argumentator”
That’s nice. So when did you lose control of your faculties?
If Hillary doesn't make the cut will the Rat Party (formerly the traditional, patriotic Democratic Party) pour (more?) money into Paul's campaign, I wonder.
Re: Perot. It's thought that Perot expected lucrative ADP contacts should Hillary Kare have been enacted during the Clintons' first administration. So maybe Perot didn't need money from the Clintonists but I suspect that Paul does need their money.
IMO.
