"You owe us you no good cracker! 50 billion dollars ain't enough!"

One of the things that turned me into a conservative was a Phil Donahue show years ago. A bunch of welfare queens...each one extremely fat and each one with an attitude...sat on the panel and declared that they had a right to have as many kids as they wanted to, and they were entitled to welfare, and by the way, the welfare payments they were getting weren't enough.
Good thing the biker welfare woman(?) is so obese that all those pictures can fit on her T-Shirt. She has "The Communist Manifesto" on her panties.
The Democrats lied cheated, stole, and profited from this disaster. She's an angry tool who's being used.
Getting out of town would’ve meant leaving their “stuff” behind. Not that their stuff was worth keeping but it was “theirs”. To leave town would mean getting off their collective rumps and doing something different with their lives.
Some have seen that leave NOLA has gotten them on with their lives.
Yew iz white, yew owe us reparations white boy!
I’ll never have a tv like that. I’m too busy working for a living to watch it anyway.
"I ain't gonna tell ya again. You hand over that meatball sub you brought with you or I'll kick yo ass!"
I recall the day (1960s)when the National Guard would be used to keep order and looters would threatened with being shot instead of having the police among them (looting while in uniform!).
” .. but it’s pitiful what people give you.”
Think she would let us have that Plasma TV then?
bump
Wow, just wow. I remember not so long ago when I was caught in a war( had a lot of nagging injuries), and all my injuries came to a head after a riot ( I was a psych nurse) in an adolescent forensic facility for the criminally insane. Took two years for workers comp to come through, three years for my pension to make it and just finished my fight for my Federal gov't pension
In that time I lost everything, car, all the furniture, stuff in my storage was ruined by floods and mildew and I was basically "tent trash." I was injured and before I gave up my car I drove from one park to another and lived out of my tent...you know, I may be a "mystic" but everytime I got down to nothing, some amazing little miracle would happen and I'd push on until the next catastrophe.
I ended up in a tent approximately 1.3 years...got used to it. Then finally received my workers comp with lifetime medical and started getting my meds(for pain and PTSD from the war, no mental delusions of grandeur etc), some epidurals and got into a home. It then took another 1.6 years to get my pension from the state after a terrible battle. But again my faith in God( of the Bible) and get this, some Internet folks who NEVER even knew me, never asked questions helped me for six months, but I still sold the car, all furniture and whatever trinket I could find...slept on the floor and praised God I had a roof over my head, some food in the frig and Internet people paying my rent, which of course made me exempt form free food and general relief they give to criminals and such. I couldn't become homeless because I've had pneumonia five times and though general relief would kick in( 170.00 per month plus food stamps) my fear in a way was I'd get my last bout of pneumonia( the last time I had it I flat lined three times, plus I'm 72-85% disabled whether you believe one lawyer or the other) and that would be it
A few of my old military unit found out about me and God bless them sent me cash with the S/F no return address. To make this testimony short because there were plenty of "miracles" I received my retroactive pension the very day the Internet money dried up and I was ten seconds away from calling my renter and telling them I had no more money.
What did I do? Well, I took all that money and repaid everyone( except my military unit that told me they'd," have to kill me if one penny returned..." to them). Yep I paid back my church plus 20%. paid back the synagogues Tzeddakah( though it was given) plus 20 percent, flew to Southern California, met those internet people I never met and paid each back "cash" plus 20 percent. Granted my credit rating will NEVER be worth a da*n but I sleep well at night...and to this day I have a 12" fifty dollar TV and no furniture...but I am sooo thankful
Some folks just expect things for free. It just rarely happens. No one is owed anything unless you paid into something. Hurricane Katrina was a tragedy but so is Sudan, so was Enron, the dot com fallout, and the earthquake in Indonesia where our aide workers were shot at and the Israeli's were refused to give. PRIDE is not so much a sin as it is just a pathetic attempt to hold onto an illusion...naked we came in to this world and naked we leave....sorry for the personal diatribe, but I feel no remorse for these folks when I see all they have inside that home..they are truly rich in material things, overweight, and thankless human beings
Crap on a big screen is still crap.
America has forgotten that cops were looting IN uniform and that the Mayor had inflated the number of police on the force (who WAS receiving those paychecks?) AND that police and nurses skipped town (some in the medical profession killed those in their care).
IT WAS NOT BUSH’S FAULT. IT WAS A CORRUPT DEMOCRAT RUN CESSPOOL.
she forgot the 2-6 rule
Incredible piece of gratitude, Karliner. Thank you.
Well, God bless you and all thse who remember to return that which was given to you. To those that never expect anything for free and have the means to repay in humbleness..as for this griping woman...maybe she SHOULD live in a tent, no running water or electricty and watch the world go by until she get’s off her lard butt and realizes sometimes, just sometimes we all have to work for a living and if we can’t we should be danged thankful for the government, church, family and friends handouts because there are PLENTY of people in this world that don’t have a thing.
I see two wastes of flesh. That’s my caption.
When they closed Alameda NAS ten years ago they tried to give the enlisted family quarters over to the local authorities for section VIII housing. The apartment buildings ere deemed unsuitable by the welfare crowd because of lack of dishwashers and the washer/dryers were installed in a common area for use by all tenants, instead of in each apartment.
Scum and trash.
