This movie looks fantastic! Here are some screencaps:

Heath Ledger looks unrecognizably terrifying as the Joker.

Also, here is Maggie Gyllenhaal, replacing Katie Holmes as Bruce's love interest, Rachel Dawes.

Looking up with surprise at Bruce Wayne is Aaron Eckhart as D.A. Harvey Dent, who ends up becoming Two-Face. Strange that he's not really mentioned in the trailer, as he's supposed to play a pretty big role in the movie.

It looks like they tried to make Maggie Gyllenhall look as much like Katie Holmes as possible.

Seems like one to rent... Don’t think I’d put up with the stupidness of the local theaters to go watch a movie I’ve pretty much already seen done really well before. Perhaps word of mouth might change my mind, but the original hit the chord perfectly.

Eric Roberts is playing mob boss Maroni who will be throwing the acid into Dent’s face creating Two-Face. Probably near the end or latter half of the movie.

It would be silly to do it early before they’ve established his character.

The theme of the film is the “mob strikes back” at Batman and Gotham.

If you look at Bale’s Imdb Bio, there are some animated features he did called Batman: Gotham Knight.
