(vanity)After Hillary loses, then what?

So let's play this through - pundits are saying Hillary is at risk of losing the Demo nomination.

So what then? Rush today "predicted" that if so, she will run as a third party candidate with Michael Bloomberg. Interesting. A caller speculated that it will be a race to the court house to see who files for divorce first.

Could she and Bubba really fade away? I doubt it. My own opinion is that they see a Clinton "monarchy" as their manifest destiny. This ain't over. It's their god (small "g" in their case) right!

What do you think? Discuss.

She’s not going to lose the nomination. That is just wishful thinking.

“She’s not going to lose the nomination. That is just wishful thinking.”

You got that right...she will win the nomination and the dead will walk the earth on election night 2008. They will all head to the polls to make HRC the first woman president. Someone pass me an asprin.

Supposing she does lose the nomination, she becomes a long-term Senator from New York, and arguably more influential than she'd ever have been as president.

That's what happened with Ted Kennedy.

Ted was the runt of the Kennedy family who was pressured into running for President. That is not Hillary's situation.

My read of her personality is that she would commit suicide if the passion of her life was taken from her. My concern is how many others she would try to take with her. Hillary is a bona fide sociopath imho.

I tend to agree. Hillary gets the nomination. It’s always been a question of how many bodies she will have to step over to get it. She’ll have to “take-down” Obama by any means necessary. Might weaken her in the general, and it guarantees that Obama isn’t on the ticket.

I think she could lose the nomination. However if she teams with Bloomberg, I don’t see how it doesn’t hand the election to the Republicans. She would be remembered as the one who lost it for them. It could ruin her chances for reelection as Senator....or ever getting the Dem nomination again. No, she’d suck it up, I think...if the Dem candidate loses anyway, she’d run in 2012...if the Dem candidate wins, well, she’d have to take a back seat for a while.

I hope she loses the Dem. nomination. I don’t want her and her pervert husband anywhere near the White House again.

The only bad side to her losing the nomination now is that she could try again in 2012 (like Edwards in 2004). But if she won the nomination and then got spanked in the general, that would end her presidential hopes completely.

Sean Hannity wants her to be the nominee so “we can get this over with.”

She would do that. In her mind, it would be a way to punish Democrats for daring to resist her. She is that vindictive.

she could run again

Hillary's body and face are falling apart fast.

The only way she is running in 2012 is as a cyborg.

I wouldn't put it past Hillary to kill her real mama and send a "double" up on stage if "mama" dosen't recite her lines on cue.

If she wins the Presidency then we will be finished with them after 4 or 8 years. If she loses then we will see her in the Senate for the next 25 years. Both scenarios don’t sound too good.
