Not quite on my shoulder, LOL It was a little cold this morning and I went out to sit in the Sun by the hayfield.
I’ve got a bluebird that’s managed to overwinter here for the last two years. It’s well north of where it should be this time of year but it apparently gets what it needs from the seed and suet I put out.
Here's a picture I took of a bird at about 10 yards away...looking at the exif data, it was at 222mm, F5.6. ISO400
Bunch of them around here. I caught this one on a test run with a new camera. I hang around the hayfield so much that they get used to me.
I have finally reached the age where I can laze around, and sit in the Sun, I’m going to make the most of it.

Beautiful! I had never seen a bluebird until I moved to Tennessee. Now they are one of my favorites.
I think your bird image is beautiful and you have posted many other lovely ones.
Well, you are being a jerk.
What is that critter?
You spent all that money on that Canon Rebel, for that?
Don’t go starting pissing contests, around here.
Your white balance is off, your exposure is off, your DOF is shallow, and you are OOF.
Go have a nice day!
ROFL.
Let's start with your picture is a mess. My picture was a "lift it up, click the shutter".
My picture has Bokeh. Your picture has uh, what's that called? Oh, right, Shitty resolution.
I wasn't trying to say that you couldn't take pictures of stuff....but that picture is hard to figure out because it's so flapping pixelated.
Show some more. Do you have anything identifiable? I didn’t know y’all had green birds in Joisy, is it mildew?
Spectacular, as always!
.
Hoo boy
LOLOL, wanna post a bird?

I’ve taken better pictures than that with my cell phone. What kind of bird is that, and what color is it supposed to be?
Lovely, lol, a bird and a bombing ‘bird’!! Somehow it all fits.
Good stuff!
.
That’s the memorial one
Yes.
I love bluebirds. I have several nests around here, and the males peck on my windows in the morning. I don’t think they’re seeing their reflections, because they never get aggressive about it, just peck to say hi, I guess.
