Starting in the early days of the Cold War, the CIA began a secret project called Operation Mockingbird, with the intent of buying influence behind the scenes at major media outlets and putting reporters on the CIA payroll, which has proven to be a stunning ongoing success. The CIA effort to recruit American news organizations and journalists to become spies and disseminators of propaganda, was headed up by Frank Wisner, Allen Dulles, Richard Helms and Philip Graham. The CIA had infiltrated the nation's businesses, media, and universities with tens of thousands of on-call operatives by the 1950's. Many Americans still insist or persist in believing that we have a free press, while getting most of their news from state-controlled television, under the misconception that reporters are meant to serve the public...

This makes sense if the CIA is riddled with traitorous liberals as the book
Sabotage claims.

LOL, Maybe Paul is a tool of Project Mockingbird to keep the anti-Establishment types appeased by making them think they are represented and have a voice?

There is collusion between the Democrat party and the media.
While it isn’t “state” run media, the Party does run the media.
And there are government employees who use their position withing government agencies to stifle the current administration’s own policies.

Well, knock me over with a feather. The, er, “National Expositor”? You’d figure a mainstream source like that would have...uh...already been infiltrated. It would explain a lot, wouldn’t it?
To: Fennie
Sam is lost in the fifties. There are whole lot of deep pockets other than our own government sources controlling our journalists. It ain’t your grandfathers media any longer.

Add.....interesting that the “good old boys&rdquonetwork; is mentioned as a controlling source when the media is overwhelmingly leaning left. Unless our good old boys are now named HSU, this piece is blatantly off the mark.

I can not, for the life of me, understand why moonbats can’t see how far left the media leans. It boggles the mind.

Is it because the media are secretly controlled by the President that they attack him at every turn?
