I would say so, from the perspective of OSU.

Well Notre Dame is in a bowl of another type, the toilet, done for this season. LOL

There is no way that Va tech should be rated higher than Oklahoma.

Is it true that Michigan smells like dirty hot dog water? Are they going to be making Virginia Tech cookies on January 3rd?

Second it, Hawaii got the shaft in this one for a university that did quite well this season.

I know a few sports writers. They’re all Clinton fans and registered Democrats.
You’re complaining about their college football ratings?

There is no way that Va tech should be rated higher than Oklahoma. I don't know that they are. I think that the Fiesta Bowl is considered a more prestigious bowl than the Orange Bowl.

I don’t recognize half these bowls because of the stupid corporate names.

Lasts too long now. Also in March Madness everything is done in the couse of 3 weeks time. It seems like forever with college football.

Who woulda thunk it, Zook makes a BCS Bowl, and no bowl game period, for Spurrier.

The sad truth is that they are part of the mix, for corporations to lend their names to.

Hawaii barely beat a second tier Pac Ten team in their last game. It was the toughest team they faced all year. They have been fun to watch, but quite honestly don’t deserve to be there. Georgia will probably crush them.

Yes, and 7 of 11 Big Ten teams have Bowl games.

Every year I create a mythical 16 team tournament using the 11 conference champions and the top 5 BCS non winners. Using the BCS rankings for seeding purposes. #s 14,15,16 are not in the top BCS 25 so I used geographical proximity.
Here goes.
Central Michigan(16) @ Ohio State (1)
West Virginia (9) @ Kansas (8)
Florida (12) @ Georgia (5)
BYU (13) @ Oklahoma (4)
Central Florida (14) @ Virginia Tech (3)
Arizona State (11) @ Missouri (6)
Hawaii (10) @ Southern California (7)
Troy (15) @ Louisiana State (2)
Admittedly there are some dog first round games. But it gets interesting in the following rounds.

But the conference championship game that I did watch in which Hawaii won, was joy to watch. Remember Bosise was last year’s Cinderalia’s team. Could Hawaii be this year’s?
