DETROIT (AP) - Detroit police investigating injuries to a one-year-old boy say they found the skeletal remains of another baby who is the brother of the living child.
Police say Reid told investigators that Deante Miller died two years ago. Authorities say the couple burned him in a barbecue grill and hid what was left of the baby in the ceiling of a home.

I saw this story earlier today but couldn’t bring myself to post it. How heartless and repulsive can you be?

Dollars to donuts this is what happened. The bones probably show multiple previous fractures from the beatings the child took before death.
Just when one thinks that one cannot be shocked anymore, the bar keeps getting lower....
Even with taking into view the old time practice of burying one’s own family “out back” BBQing was never a part of the tradition.

I’d be more interested in how the baby died rather than what happened to it afterwards.
I hate to say this, but these people should be put to death. All this anti-death-penalty stuff just lowers the bar for deviant behavior like this.
My thoughts exactly, but, this may sound cruel, it would be a slowcooker.
I have a gorgeous 5 month old son and am so appalled when I read stories about parents abusing their children. My heart aches for these little ones that are betrayed by the people who are supposed to take care of them.
Beat me by a mile.
