“Any big 10 team is at best a second-tier team (AKA Vandy) in the SEC.”

Yet another southern boy who likes to say stuff so outrageous as to prove he knows nothing.

Pssssst, the Buckeyes can play with anyone, oh, and the north won the Civil War!

Tressel has also beaten Ron Zook. We’ll be looking forward to that game in Champaign next year. It will be another L for Zook. This years game.... something about a blind squirrel.

So let me see if I understand this?

If Hawaii beats Washington this will prove how great Hawaii is. However, Ohio State playing AT Washington proves what a weak schedule they had.

Last year the SEC and Big Ten played in three games. The Big Ten won two of those games. But since that does not fit the SEC IS GREAT template it is conveeeeeeeniently forgotten.

I'll say it again. Talking to SEC fans is alot like talking to liberals about global warming (and I just had a weekend of talking to crazy liberals).

I think Florida is more than happy to avoid Illinois (a match-up with Zook).

As I recall, last year the Illini gave Ohio State their toughest regular season test. And don’t think that Zook’s successor at UF didn’t take a few notes after watching that game.

We’ve already beaten one former coach this year.

****When OSU faced Purdue, the national buzz was Purdue was an awesome offense... not so much. When OSU faced Penn State in Happy Valley, the national buzz was OSU can’t stand up to a team like PSU in such hostile conditions... not so much. When OSU played Wisconsin, the buzz was Wisconsin was a solid and legit team that would expose OSU... not so much.****

That's been the template for the pretty people all year long. It seems like pretty much every week the experts have picked Ohio St is lose.

“There are at least a few SEC teams that will beat OSU by that margin and more.”

OSU plays who is on their schedule. The weak teams they scheduled were a “donation”. Tressell coached at YSU. He knows what a big game means financially to those teams. The weak teams are all Ohio teams. OSU also scheduled and played Washington in Washington. OSU can’t control how good or bad non conference teams are, OSU also played Texas, Mack Brown didn’t want anymore of the Buckeyes.

I’ll bet on the Buckeyes no matter who they play in the bowl. Like I said, no team in the nation can beat them by more than 7. Give me the Bucks and 7, for $100?

“just a good run”

Yeah, just a good run, at putting 5 to 6 teams in the top 25 every year.

“the SEC is somehow inherently superior”

On this point we are in agreement. ;)

I’ve said it before, I think this year’s OSU team is better than last year’s, especially on defense.

UF and OSU should be 1 and 2 respectively in next season’s pre-season polls.

oh what a crap excuse. I would expect more out of a “quality coach”. OSU and michigan are both way overrated. It was very satisfying to beat the bucks for TWO national championships in a few months span, lol.... The gators will probably play a little better next year when they have more than 5 starting seniors. Or maybe UF will clone Tebow and patent him. Tebow is superman... played the second half with a broken hand and told FSU to “eat my shorts”.....

Get rid of Nutt and we’ll be 4-8 next year.

I think all the bickering is healthier for the sports world. No playoffs necessary.

“Tressel lost to Ron Zook.”

Urban Meyer lost to Rich Brooks, Mark Richt and Tommy Tuberville. I don’t see a Knute Rockne in that list. Your point?

The trauma of going to National Championship games two years in a row? Or the trauma of winning or sharing conference championships 5 of the past 6 years?

****Victories include Troy, North Texas, Chattanooga, Ole Miss, and Florida International.****

Oh no you don't. See here are the rules. You can make fun of the Big Ten and their schedule but your not allowed to say anything bad about the SEC and their schedules.

I don't see anyway around that even if Bob Stoops steps in. Too much talent heading for paydays.

Hopefully, someone will destroy OSU in a bowl game for their pansy schedule this year.

Sounds like someone from Ohio pissed on your shoes.

“You’re embarrassing yourself. Turn off the computer and study for your spelling test.”

WAFI... you can’t think of anything to say so you criticize spelling when I’m responding to several posters?
