Missouri was flagged 14 times for 137 yards while the Jayhawks were only flagged 2 times for 26 yards. Many missed calls against Kansas but the refes did a great job to keep an eye on Missouri. At the end of the game, why did Kansas do a “regular” free kick? Why didn’t they try an “onsides free kick,” assuming it’s even possible or legal: that is, kick the ball the minimum 10 yards, then try to recover the free kick as they would a kickoff?
Looks like OU is gonna have to beat them twice this year
If Missouri loses to Oklahoma and Va Tech loses in the ACC Championship game, the BCS is going to be in an even bigger mess. This year’s National Champion will the the worst champion, ever.
Missouri dominated the Jayhawks despite the final score and SHOULD get the Number one ranking as a result.
Looking forward to a second crack at Oklahoma this time on a neutral field.
Was rooting for Kansas....but Kansas came (expecting) to win and Missouri came to play. Happens every time....
So I lost on Kansas, and Kentucky but won on Texas A&M and Arkansas....
Great weekend of football! The level of play is incredible. It's an order of magnitude better than the late 50's, early 60's when I was in school.
Out of 22 posts, nobody said “show me”.
Kansas Football
A Tradition Since September
D*mn fine game.
Sounds like the Razorbacks/Tigers game on Friday. Best call was when there was less than a minute to go, and the refs gave LSU a second sideline warning (after Les Miles ran to the Arkansas 5 yard line to call time out) before LSU scored to send the game into overtime. A second sideline warning?
