Last night, in Las Vegas, the Democratic candidates were showcased in a debate for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. Perspicacious FReepers, as usual, were quite entertaining on the live thread. Of particular amusement was the cackling heard early on in the debate...as one astute FReeper observed,
it began with a cackle and ended with a whimper. I thank BORe for today's word.....I stole it from him!

It's FRIDAY!
There were a couple of truant students with birthdays we missed. Happy Birthday to Laura Earl and Mooch Pooch.

AlGore thinks that he’s perspicacious
Seeing things that only AlGore can see
His remedies won’t really be efficacious
Restricted lifestyles with less energy
Of course, his own life will still be bodacious
Lear Jets and mansions are his true legacy

Good Morning!
I suspect that true perspicacity is 99% perspiration, and one percent "-acity."

Perspicacity. There's an old word from the FR religious wars.
It is gently snowing right now. We got a healthy covering overnight. Nothing stuck to roads or sidewalks, but I did have to scrape some wet sitcky stuff off the cars.

Ah yes, the perspicacious Freepers were on the ball on that luive thread..........thankfully one mentioned that AMC was showing “Blazing Saddles.”
I made it through the first 30 minutes of the debate, but Mel Brooks is far more realistic than the chackling of the dimms :)

Sheesh, that thread is almost 1500 posts. We watched part of it last night, but I get so sick of seeing Hillary’s smug face. She thinks she’s got the nomination all sewn up with the ‘rats. I don’t think so.
She is definitely not perspicacious in her thoughts and actions. Even the liberals know that.

Those who fear global warming should just cool it, and don’t sweat the small changes. But, then again, the liberals don’t have that kind of perspiration and drive, but rather a perspicaciously absent ability to absorb things.
