WFB's attempt to emulate us ; ) No pushing at the door please!
I was hoping her cackle would be on the air for weeks.....it was hillarIOUS.......I hooted with laughter.....good thing I was home alone and able to get rowdy. LOL......it was quite a release for me. ;^)
Ain’t that the truth, Truthie!!!
Right on, NnB!
When VRWCbigboy was a baby, he named his maternal grandparents “Gan” and “Papu”, and those names stuck for them for the rest of their grandkids. My parents were named by my nephew (sister’s son) as “Memaw” and “Granddaddy” (my sister helped him with “Granddaddy”) and those names for them stuck with my boys and the rest of their grandkids.
I knew a Lt. in the LASD, who was fired for the same thing. Only he was doing it in the back of a movie theater. It really sucked for him because he only had two years to retire.
Why are you now bringing in all the sex threads? Sheep got boring? LOL!
hobbes1 has been busy.
Isn’t that ridiculous about the Pope? What a bunch of AHs. Isn’t that supposed to have happened in San Francisco?
We had rain for three minutes in the early afternoon with BIG boomers, then last night had about seven minutes of rain. The thunder and lightning woke me up at 1:03 a.m. Cyber slept through it all, and so did the cats. With the wind, it was raining sideways right into the sliding glass door in our bedroom.
I don’t go near any religious threads. I’d probably get stoned to death.
-it’s pretty windy here....not freezing, but cold. The snow has melted off again. and there are patches of blue skies.
We had a major accident north of here......the helecopter had to land here as the snow squalls were preventing them from getting too close so they toned us out for a landing zone. A couple of accidents along the interstate as well......I hope it holds off while I run out for awhile.
i thought potluck meant people just brought stuff. i you don’t assign a CATEGORY, then you can have all desserts and no main course.
In my family we always called our grandparents “Grams” and “Gramps.” I guess everyone has a different way.
Now, Laura, I think “Diva” is a bit too much, but it is different. LOL!
I'm OK with that. LOL.
they are probably dead.
That’s nice to know, CJ. But if your DNA is found by the CSI crew, you’re in deep doodoo. /joshing
I used to do the same thing, but waited until after midnight, then went to bed after posting.
it was tasty! i always enjoy the feasts. they have an international lunch in the spring, and a Tgiving feast. It’s a private Christian school and so the headmaster spoke about how it was no longer PC many places to thank our divine creator, but that at Oakwood we would always give thanks to the Almighty for the gifts that we receive. it was quite nice.
happy bday MOOCHIE!
-she could be the DivaGRanny.......it has a stylish ring to it.
I absolutely love “Blazing Saddles.” We have it on video and play it quite often when we have heard the same news over and over and over again.
nonny i am sure comes from the Italian, as one of my good friend’s parents are FROM Italy and they are nona and nonu. not sure how to spell it, but that is gram and gramps in Italian.
