'Moanstick' turns wails into movement (cursor movement by voice)

The video below shows someone using a great new 'vocal joystick' to navigate a webpage. The software developed at the University of Washington translates different volumes, pitch, vowel sounds and particular noises into movements and actions.

The Vocal Joystick system is aimed at providing a new interaction method for physically impaired people.
