For the past 6 years, Golden Corral has been honoring the US Military with a free thank you dinner and beverage at any Golden Corral restaurant on Military Appreciation Monday (first Monday after Veterans Day). This year, Golden Corral has designated Monday, November 12, 2007, from 5 to 9 pm, to honor any person who has ever served in the United States Military.

Golden Corral is great, and started in my hometown (Fayetteville, NC). My only beef with them right now is they are all buffet, all the time. You can’t get a steak at lunch. Otherwise, their big-fat-yeast-rolls are to die for, and their weekend breakfast is tasty and reasonably priced (especially with kids).
Stuffed with 2 sirloin steaks and 4 hot rolls, no rabbit food!
