“Yes, I remember that a month or two ago but how were they cheating in the last two months?”
Bellicek’s character was established by that episode, so I find it interesting that his team is now complaining about anything. According to the insiders with the Browns, the Saints have interfered with radio transmissions to the helmets of the opponents whenever there were 3rd down calls coming to them on the field.
Kinda’ like the pot calling the pot a pot.
I think that the Pats being singled out for something that they were not trying to hid. The guy was standing on the sidelines for everyone to see.
How would them taping defensive signs help them during that game?
Blasting crowd noise so the offense can’t hear signal effects the game going on. Screwing with radio frequencies, etc all effect the game being played.
Its a huge diffence with what the Pats did and what the colts are doing.
Why shouldn’t Bellicheck file a complaint? This is something that visitors to Indy have been complaining about informally (because there was never any proof) for years, finally something happened that might provide evidence that those complaints might be valid. Who the head coach of the other team was when this happened, and what they’ve done in recent months, shouldn’t matter. The rules clearly state you can’t pipe in artificial noise during play, if the Colts are doing that it’s cheating, period. People need to stop being hypocritical about this, if they’re going to spend 2 months complaining about the Pats breaking a rule then they need to do the same with Indy (assuming the investigation goes against them), don’t get all weasily just because the time something went wrong and they got caught it was against the Pats.
