My daughter wrecked her new car yesterday. Yeah... she's fine. Her ego was bruised more than anything. We had just bought her a brand new car for her birthday last week, A pretty little red convertible.
She was riding, talking on that darn phone not paying attention to what was going on and went around a corner to fast and flipped the thing.
She wasn't wearing any seat belt so it threw her out of the car. We are very lucky she didn't get hurt. There was a guy there who saw the whole thing and just happened to have a camera with him.
Shocked he got the whole thing on film. You can see she still has that phone in her hand I think we are gonna have to take it away from her.

Glad she’s ok.
Phones kill more people than they save. I see on the freeway every time I’m out, nearly 1/3 of every person driving, is talking at the same time. Crazy...

It could be worse. I had an old girlfriend who’s brother wrecked the family’s brand new car on his birthday, the second day that they had owned it.
Put it upside down in a ditch. Miracle he didn’t kill himself and his friends.

Thank God she’s alive. Thank God she’s unhurt. Thank God no one else was killed or hurt.
It’s your call, but I would confiscate the car and her phone for at least six months. Pain makes lessons more memorable. Yes, I understand the wailing will be terrible to hear.
When you finally return them, be sure to remind her why you took them away in the first place.
