You had me going. You’re right, it is too cute not to share. I been there and got the tee shirt.
During an icy snow storm, my 16-yo newly licensed daughter “needed” to go to the “library” for “research”. I was adamant against the idea, but she prevailed on her mother and I was overruled. I offered to drive her there, stay the whole time (quietly reading in another part of the library). Conditions were so icy that even an experienced driver didn’t belong on the road, let alone anyone with zero winters driving experience.
I think you know where this is going. She winds driving Mon’s Camry into a telephone pole on a road far from the library, that leads not to the library but to the mall.
I sucked it up and gave her the old, “you’re alright and that’s all that matters” speech, though I was seething inside. (I think she and her mother ‘sensed’ my rage. Women have great intuition about these things.)
