Several weeks ago, we mentioned the idea of interviewing individual members, in the interest of getting to know one another a little better. Freeper DCBryan1 gave me a holler and said he’d volunteer to be a guinea pig. Since he’ll be deploying before long (he can’t say where, else he’d have to kill you) but judging from his profile, he’s already very accomplished and has had some very interesting life experiences. (Either that, or a pathological liar with access to our country’s intercontinental ballistic missile system, in which case I’m moving to New Zealand.)

I won’t spend a whole lot more time telling you about him, because that’s the point of this thread, to find out all about him. (And his mother also asked us to find a wife for him, so we sure thought we’d give it a try.)

Bryan, have you found that the “nice” girls are intimidated by your “credentials”, while the women that aren’t intimidated by you are overly aggressive and/or “not so nice”?

LOL thanks! My last girlfriend was a crazy redhead about 5 years older. She wanted to settle down so quick it was insane. She was agnostic, and that kind of bothered me. She was a hoplophobe, which I could live with, but irked me, and worst of all, she voted for Bill Clinton ;)

Anyways to answer your question, I guess the women around here are very much into their career, at the expense of the good guys floating around here.

According to the MD, December 23 is when we should be meeting our daughter. My 14 year old is excited about becoming a big sister, and I’m thrilled to be a dad again.

I was just watching that cute It’s Caturday Morning cartoon again. It is even funnier to me now that I notice the floor is strewn with cat toys and one of those cat furniture things and the mattress is all tore up and hanging in shreds AND the bed posts and completely scratched up! Before I was so busy looking at the cat I did not catch all that. Obviously that cat rules! So cute!...

If the MOS’s are the same as they were when I was in, 35 is intelligence. [Insert lame joke here.]

OMG You’re right! I never noticed any of that either! LOL LOL This person whoever did this little cartoon sure knows kitty cats. It’s really well done. I love it!

Mom cleans the litter boxes (and there are five of them now with the new baby’s) every single day. Best compliment we ever got was from a guest to our home who was absolutely shocked that we have cats at all as (of course) they all scatter when anyone comes over so there were none in sight. And there is no smell at all from the litter boxes because mom stays on top of them so well. AND I had the outdoor kitty exercise pen built so they go outside a lot and use the big sandbox too.
