"sat out there for about 2 hours and it was darned near perfect. Sunshine, blue sky about 80."

That's how it was here this past weekend...and even earlier today. Perfect...mid-high 70's. And it is supposed to warm up like that again next weekend. I stll have hummingbirds and it is almost a month later than I normally ever see them!

It is turning cold again! My neighbor said it is supposed to get down into the 20's tonight. Brrrrr!!!!!

I've noticed, that in spite of how much you say your weather is beautiful, you seem to complain about it a lot.....

I love our weather here, sorry to say you don't love yours. It's not been below 70 degrees where we are for two weeks. And when it gets cold and it snows......we like it that way too, cause it's beautiful and fun.

And our cousins up here aren't named Jethro and Bubba.....

but had that nutty but successful play to win the game against Auburn gone astray many of the adoring fans would have been calling for his scalp

Well, your adopted Floriduh team has 3 losses already.........coach Whiner might learn a lesson from coach Miles on that record.

And your ramblin wreck.....just that yes?

Georgia, about to get rocked, cooked, and dropped.

You need to adopt LSU before its too late Pup.......after all they are some hundreds of Miles West of you, and very likable when they win........

:-)

Florida, for which I have no love, was beaten by Auburn and Georgia and LSU, all of which have pretty good records.

None of them lost to Appalachian State.

How dare you interrupt my workday with such a scandalous attack? I use stretchy knits on my sewing machine. ;)

I'm packin',...leaving a week from today, and I have a last date with the dentist tomorrow and Thurs I get my hair cut and curled. Sunday out to dinner, then the bus leaves at five a.m. on Tues morning. Sheeesh, my brains in a turmoil.

....but I did find the time to put an apple pie in the oven for the old guy. ;) See ya all when I can..

* = key word.

Besides, as a very wise bookie man once said, "There is no remarks column on the score sheet."

So far, this season has produced a lot of national face time revenue for LSU. Yesterday CBS announced they plan to cover the LSU-Ole Miss game next weekend at Oxford. If I'm not mistaken that will LSU's fourth time on CBS this year. ESPN has broadcast one or two. Surely, by the end of the season everyone, player and fan alike, will have had a chance to say 'Hi, Mom' or 'We're #1' in front of a camera at least once. '

Sharky, it would be mighty nice of Michigan to knock Ohio out of that # 1 place.

It could happen. After all, the mighty Wolverines almost beat Appalachian State.

Wha?!
The Swamp Fox to the north beat Ohio, land of “Are we dead, or are we in Ohio?”???

Well... possible, yes.
Considering my fellow Buckeyes have been largely catatonic as a whole.
(What’s that say about the teams they’ve beat?)
(And yes, I am a displaced Buckeye...)
(And the Cuyahoga River isn’t on fire again.. is it?)
