Weather was beautiful and warm today. Rained some earlier, but not a lot; however, I was just advised that we are currently under a tornado watch. I JUST got home from work. I need a vacation. LOL! It was a day from hell....and I’m on call this week! I knew it was not a good sign today when I went to put my cokes in the fridge this morning (when I was trying to hurry up and get out the door because I’d already been getting calls about stuff I needed to deal with) and they fell on the floor, with one of them spewing all over the kitchen. Then I caught my heel in one of my new stockings and ripped a hole in it. At some point I did something to my back; no idea what - (reference post from yesterday), which is still killing me. Ended up having to be in court at 5:00 PM having to deal with a not too pleasant individual and situation. That’s just scratching the surface. And it’s only Monday! Welcome to my world.

That's because you don't hang out with the earth worshipping, new age, "gods 'r' us" liberals that subscribe to such practices.
Honestly, though, I think that Cardy has a point about women being more drawn to the occult in general, but I think that fits in with the whole feminine intuition thing, etc. I think women have a more acute sense or awareness of the existence of the supernatural and the spiritual, whether light or dark.
Not gonna touch that, except to say that I disagree. Women have the ability. Most just don't care to approach it that way. But it DOES depend on the individual woman.
Now...that may well be true....

Speaking of kids hurling...
The only thing that made today tolerable at all was the sweet wake up call I got at 5 this morning and the call on my way home to check on me because of the weather warnings. Some things just make life more bearable somehow.

There is a severe system moving through the Ozarks a little further north. There have been tornadoes and tornado warnings all evening in SW Missouri. There is at least one confirmed fatality and several homes destroyed. New warnings are being issued every few minutes. I was very relieved to hear from "R" a few minutes ago. So far it has gone all around him, but the warnings are expected to go through the night. So far all we've gotten here is a lot of lightning, but this is a severe system.
